MIX IT UP CHALLENGE #5 - ANYTHING GOES + INLAID DIE CUT

***THESE ARE OUR CHALLENGE RULES***

The challenges at MIX IT UP will run for a whole month,

with a midway post on 15th with more inspiration from our DT.

You can enter up to 5 projects in our challenges and combine them with as many

other challenges as you wish.***

All our challenges will be 'ANYTHING GOES' with an optional twist.

Your projectscan be anything, cards, ATC, Mixed Media, 3D Projects, Altered Art, papercrafts

and/or scrapbook layouts. We want to 'mix it up'!

The challenge will close at 6pm EST (11PM GMT (UK time)
on the last day of the month.

We hope you will join us for all our challenges.

This challenge -

ANYTHING GOES with optional twist INLAID DIE CUT

This is my inspiration project for you.

Hope this will give you lots of inspiration.
I started off with a 5.5x5.5 base card.
I layered the front and inside with paper from the ENGLISH GARDEN paper pad
from CRAFT CONSORTIUM
I die cut the 'inlaid die cut' using a die from my stash.
Pretty butterflies and flowers.
I stamped a 'thinking of you' sentiment and die cut it with a banner die.
Finally I placed a blue self adhesive pearl in each corner.
Hope you like what I did and it will inspire you to join in with our challenge.
Remember its an 'Anything Goes' challenge and the 'twist' is always optional.

LET'S CRAFT & CREATE CHALLENGE #129 - CHILDS PLAY

Hello lovely people!
We have a new challenge starting today over at

LET'S CRAFT & CREATE

The theme for this challenge is....

CHILDS PLAY

Remember to visit us again for our half-way post from Team 2 on 19th of the month.

This is my DT inspiration for you this time around.

A simple card this time around.

I used a 5.5 square base card and layered the front with a patterened paper - 5-3/8inch square.
I used a baby print paper pad in my stash and cut out elements from it, such a stags and circles. I die cut a stitched circle and put a self-adhesive rocking horse picture in the centre and put on the card using foam tape.

Well here we are with Challenge #5 for.....

So here is my DT inspiration for you!

I used Andrea's image 'ROCKET & ROSIE'

This is such a cute image and so easy to colour.

I coloured the image with Copics and made the grass and what are supposed to be flowers lol.

I die cut around the image using a 'stitched circle' die. I placed it on top of a pretty patterned paer I layered on the fron of the card. Lastly I stamped a sentiment and cut it out using a 'banner' die.

I used foam tape on the image topper and sentiment banner to give them some dimension.
I hope you like what I did with the image and it will give you some inspiration.
