Here is my DT project for this week.

Our theme will always be....
ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

This is my inspiration for you this time...

I decided on a 3D decoupaged gift tag for this project.

I started by cutting a gift tag shape from kraft card.

I covered the front and back with a 'snowy' patterned paper.

 Then I put a Santa decoupage set I had in my stash on the front of the tag using 3D glue gel.

I used some red and white twine from my stash to make the string for the gift tag.

This challenge - #6

ANYTHING GOES with optional twist WATERCOLOURING

This is my inspiration project for you.

Hope this will give you lots of inspiration.

I started off with a 5.75x5.75 base card.
I cut a piece of Watercolour card and painted the background using SPECTRUM AQUA MARKERS using a combination of blues and oranges to make my background.
I stamped the image of a country cottage and a sentiment onto the background and coloured the cottage using the Aqua's. I think I got quite a nice effect.
Hope you like what I did and it will inspire you to join in with our challenge.

Remember its an 'Anything Goes' challenge and the 'twist' is always optional but please do try the option in your project.

CRAFT CONSORTIUM - 'THINKING OF YOU' WEEK

So my first sample is a card created using ENGLISH GARDEN collection

As it is 'THINKING OF YOU' week I decided to make a card for this.

These papers are so pretty!

I also used Duck Egg satin ribbon and resin flowers from the  ALWAYS & FOREVER collection and some tiny white pearls from the same collection. The toppers in the centre I fussy cut from the cover of the paper pad.

This is my inspiration project for you.

I started off with a 5.5x5.5 base card.
I layered the front and inside with paper from the ENGLISH GARDEN paper pad
from CRAFT CONSORTIUM
I die cut the 'inlaid die cut' using a die from my stash.
Pretty butterflies and flowers.
I stamped a 'thinking of you' sentiment and die cut it with a banner die.
Finally I placed a blue self adhesive pearl in each corner.
Hope you like what I did and it will inspire you to join in with our challenge.

LET'S CRAFT & CREATE CHALLENGE #129 - CHILDS PLAY

Hello lovely people!
We have a new challenge starting today over at

LET'S CRAFT & CREATE

The theme for this challenge is....

Remember to visit us again for our half-way post from Team 2 on 19th of the month. 

This is my DT inspiration for you this time around.

A simple card this time around.

I used a 5.5 square base card and layered the front with a patterened paper - 5-3/8inch square.
I used a baby print paper pad in my stash and cut out elements from it, such a stags and circles. I die cut a stitched circle and put a self-adhesive rocking horse picture in the centre and put on the card using foam tape.

So here is my DT inspiration for you!

I used Andrea's image 'ROCKET & ROSIE'

This is such a cute image and so easy to colour.

I coloured the image with Copics and made the grass and what are supposed to be flowers lol.

I die cut around the image using a 'stitched circle' die. I placed it on top of a pretty patterned paer I layered on the fron of the card. Lastly I stamped a sentiment and cut it out using a 'banner' die.

I used foam tape on the image topper and sentiment banner to give them some dimension.
  I hope you like what I did with the image and it will give you some inspiration.

THE MERRY CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE!

I love making Xmas cards.
My DT project for this week.

The theme for this challenge is WREATH

I simply printed out a digi image of a lovely Christmas wreath I had and die cut a square around it then matted it to the front of a 5x5 white card base. I also printed out a 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' sentiment and laid it across the centre of the wreath using foam pads to give it a little lift.
